You do not need to ask. Everything on this site that is not the paid kit is free to forward, print, reprint and hand around — including on your own letterhead, in your own newsletter, to your own stations.

You may forward, print, photocopy, reproduce and distribute any free page on stationcompliance.com, in whole or in part, to anyone — your affiliates, your members, your staff, your board, your engineer, your attorney. That includes reprinting it in a newsletter, a member bulletin, a trade publication or a memo on your own letterhead.
Nothing to sign. No fee. No expiry. No need to tell us.
Two requests, neither of which is a condition you have to track: do not change the substance of what a page says about a rule, and do not present the work as your own. An unaltered link, or a credit line reading “Reprinted with permission from Station Compliance — stationcompliance.com”, covers it completely.
The material on this site exists so that a station with no engineer can find out what the FCC actually requires without paying anybody to tell them. That purpose is defeated the moment a station manager hesitates before forwarding something because they are not sure they are allowed to.
So rather than say nothing and leave people guessing, or write the usual all-rights-reserved line and mean the opposite of it, the permission is written down and given away up front. If it gets read by ten thousand broadcasters who never buy anything, that is the system working, not a leak in it.
Networks, state associations and group owners: if you would rather send something carrying your own logo and your own name instead of ours, we will build you that version at no charge. It is a better piece of communication coming from the organization a station already trusts, and we would rather it get read than get credited. Email us and say what you need.
The Program Chain Compliance Kit ($149) and the per-station service ($895) are products rather than published material, and they have their own licence in the site terms. In short: a licensee who buys the kit can use it freely across the stations they operate — print it, mark it up, copy the worksheets for each facility — but it is not for redistribution to stations outside that licensee, and it is not for repackaging into a competing product.
If you are a consultant or contract engineer serving several licensees and that line is awkward for you, it is a reasonable thing to want and we would rather sort out terms than have you guessing. Ask.
Permission to reuse is not permission to represent us, and it is not a certification of anything. Reprinting a page does not make an organization an authorized agent, partner or reseller of Station Compliance, and it does not make the station that reads it compliant. There is no certification scheme for § 11.35(d) — the FCC established none — so nobody can confer compliant status, including us, including you, including anybody selling it.
