The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts. The only personal information it holds is what you typed into a form or sent in an email.

No cookies. No tracking. No banner. You are not seeing a cookie consent banner because there is nothing to consent to — this site does not set cookies, does not run analytics, and does not load fonts, pixels, embeds or scripts from anyone else. That is verifiable: view the page source, or check the response headers for a Set-Cookie that is not there.
Station Compliance publishes FCC compliance reference material for broadcast stations and sells the Program Chain Compliance Kit and a related per-station service. Questions about anything on this page go to hello@stationcompliance.com, which reaches a person, not a ticket queue.
Nothing is collected passively. Every item below exists because you did something deliberate.
Nothing beyond ordinary web server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which records standard request information — IP address, time, the page requested, browser user agent — as every web server does. These logs are Cloudflare's, are used for delivering the site and protecting it from abuse, and are not used here to build any profile of you. No cookie is set, so nothing follows you between visits or between sites.
Your email address, whether you asked for new articles as well, and a note of which page the form was on, stored in a database in this site's Cloudflare account. The country your request came from and your browser's user-agent string are kept alongside it, to tell a real signup from a flood of automated ones. Your IP address is not stored.
It is used for one thing: emailing you when something changes at the FCC that affects a small station. It is not used for anything else, and it is not shared. Every message includes a way to leave, and emailing hello@stationcompliance.com works just as well — removal is same-day.
Payment is processed by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout pages. Your card number never touches this site and is never visible to us. What comes back is your email address, your name, and the country and postal code Stripe collects for tax and fraud purposes, along with a record of what you bought.
That information is used to deliver what you paid for, to answer support questions, to issue a refund if you ask for one, and to meet ordinary business record-keeping obligations. Stripe processes payments under its own privacy policy, which is worth reading if you want the detail on card handling.
Your message and your address, held in Google Workspace, kept as long as it is useful for supporting you, and not added to any mailing list unless you ask.

Your information is not sold, rented, or shared for anyone else's marketing. There is no affiliate arrangement, no data broker, and no list swap. The only circumstances in which information would be disclosed to anyone else are a lawful legal demand, or the need to establish or defend a legal claim.

No form and no account required. Depending on where you live you may have these rights under law — in California, for example — but they are offered here to everyone regardless, because the alternative is sorting people by jurisdiction to decide who gets treated properly.
This site sells professional reference material to broadcast licensees. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
The site is static files with no login, and its only database holds the notification list — no passwords, no payment details — which removes most of the ways a site leaks data. What personal information exists sits with Cloudflare, Stripe and Google, each of which secures it under its own program. No one can promise perfect security, and this page will not pretend otherwise. If something goes wrong that affects you, you will be told.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that materially affects people on the notification list will be sent to that list rather than quietly posted.
